Mission
Moore Buddies is a non-profit organization focused on
the success of Moore County families through
mentoring youth, promoting leadership and
empowering families through educational programs.

Vision
Our vision is to create a future where all of Moore
County’s children have caring and supporting adult
role models and a safe place to live and flourish.




Moore Buddies is dedicated to the youth in Moore County who are
at risk of not reaching their full potential due to a variety of factors.  
Youth who are in  need a positive adult role model, close monitoring
of school, home, and community behavior, as well as opportunities
to learn social, recreational, vocational and educational skills can
benefit from our agency.  Moore Buddies believes that one caring
adult can make a significant difference in the life of a child and
operates under the premise that when we impact a child’s life in a
positive way we change the future.

Currently Moore Buddies consists of two outstanding programs
which are our One-on-One Mentoring Program and our Moore
Family Connections Program!

July 1, 2013 Moore Buddies will become a program operating under
Communities In Schools of Moore County.  This site will remain through
August 31, 2013 due to our fundraiser golf tournament on 8/17/13.  Our
new site will be CIS-MC's website.  Click here to go there now!
